Consequences

1st time a student breaks a rule: Warning

2nd time: “I Just Need A Break” (in the room)

3rd time: Buddy Break with reflection paper with student and parent signature at the bottom (Mrs. Sinder’s room)

4th time: 5 minute Buddy Break and parent contact, by phone or note (Mrs. Wirsing’s room)

5th time: Office referral

Major discipline infractions: Automatic office referral

Rewards

Praise and Positive phone calls/notes

Alfie the Alligator: Class pet reading/writing activity

(Alfie only goes home with students who display good behavior all week)

Bucket fillers (individual or whole group)- Class selected reward for a filled bucket

Fun Friday yellow slips and tickets

Lovely day positive notes

Compliment chain- Class selected reward for a completed chain based on hallway compliments
