EDUCATION
Hi! My name is Mary Lacen Kinkel and I live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I am currently a Kindergarten Teacher at Metompkin Elementary School in Parksley, Virginia. Metompkin Elementary School is one of the five public elementary schools in the Accomack County District. I strongly believe that every child possesses the ability to be successful. Students need effective teachers who simply care about them as individuals and believe in their desire to learn. I hope to be the teacher my students talk about and remember for the rest of their lives. The purpose of this teaching portfolio is to highlight my qualifications and passion for the teaching profession, as well as my professional experiences.
